Arc of Greater Beaumont Buddy Walk
Great Lawn 700 Crockett St, BeaumontThe Buddy Walk® was established in 1995 by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Today, the Buddy Walk program is supported nationally by NDSS and organized at the local level by parent support groups, schools and other organizations and individuals.
BPD Cops & Kids Carnival
Beaumont Civic Center 701 Main Street, BeaumontThe Beaumont Police Department Cops & Kids Halloween Carnival is a city-wide personal safety and crime prevention festival for school aged children and their parents. Free food, amusements, games and entertainment provide a carnival atmosphere for this important educational safety event. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes for spooky carnival fun with Beaumont Police Officers.
