Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a vibrant Lion Dance performance at Riverfront Park as the City of Beaumont welcomes the Year of the Horse. This lively cultural event brings the community together for an afternoon filled with tradition, music, and family-friendly fun.
The Lion Dance is a centuries-old tradition believed to bring good fortune, prosperity, and health for the year ahead. Attendees will enjoy the powerful rhythm of ceremonial drums, colorful costumes, and energetic choreography that make this performance both exciting and meaningful for audiences of all ages.
In addition to the performance, guests can explore interactive activity booths hosted by the Beaumont Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Beaumont Children’s Museum, and the Beaumont Public Library. These booths offer hands-on activities and engaging experiences for families and children. Complimentary snacks provided by KO Korean will also be available for attendees to enjoy while supplies last.
