Jazz at the Lake with Paul Childers

The City of Beaumont’s Jazz at the Lake series kicks off with the talented Paul Childers. Jazz at the Lake is a free, ongoing series that has taken place annually at the Event Centre for three years.
Blending Pop, R&B, and Soul, Paul Childers is leading a new breed of Singer/Songwriters and Guitarists. Hailing from Nashville, Childers is trying to challenge everything you thought you knew about the future of music. He finds a way to blur the lines cast between Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix blazing guitar, a Motown rhythm section, and Pop vocal melodies.
Childers recently performed at the City of Beaumont’s 11th Annual Kinsel Lincoln Jazz + Blues Fest in January. Members of The Flava Band and Tree Cats will also perform at the free concert.
In addition to live jazz, there will be free beer tastings with 2-Row Distributing Pint Jockeys on Tour.
