Spindletop Center and the Boomtown Film Festival proudly present the 4th Annual Mental Health Symposium! This year, we will be highlighting children’s mental health. 12 News Anchor DeJonique Garrison will emcee the symposium.
The symposium will begin with a panel of four Spindletop Center experts from a variety of programs discussing children’s mental health, youth recovery, early onset psychosis and the transition from early childhood intervention. The panel will then open the floor for a Q&A session with the audience.
A discussion and free movie screening of ‘Inside Out’ will follow the panel. The first 100 kids will receive a free backpack with school supplies. Concessions will be available for purchase. Spindletop Center resources will be available. The event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you register through Eventbrite.
