Food Vendor Application Process

  1. Selection is based on a “first-come, first-serve” basis
  2. Applicant/Vendor must be:
    1. Permitted within the City of Beaumont
      • Temporary or annual mobile license
    2. In good standing with the Beaumont Health Department
    3. In good standing with past City-sponsored events
  3. Vendors chosen for the event will receive additional communications confirming their space at the event.
    1. Food vendors will be contacted only after the application deadline has closed, allowing staff to review all submissions efficiently.

There’s no cost to be considered but if you are selected for the event, you will pay a registration fee.

Due to the new State of Texas Mobile Food Vendor requirements, selected food vendors at the City of Beaumont events must provide a copy of:
Prospective licensees can find more information on the requirements for operating a mobile food vendor, the categories of MFV, the licensing process, fees, and an inspection checklist in the DSHS Mobile Food Vendor Guide at dshs.texas.gov/foodestablishments/mobile-food-vendor-guide.pdf. Yes. Online applications are required to be considered for the specific event you are inquiring.

If you are selected to participate, you will be contacted by a Beaumont Events Special Events team member and they will give you more information regarding payment, event details, and more. 

Vendors are responsible for supplying their own equipment (tables, chairs, electrical needs, water, signage, etc). Prices of all menu items must be marked and in full view of the customers. Vendors must provide reliable credit card machines. Vendors are responsible for the removal and disposal of trash.
