FAQ

Food Vendor Application Process

  1. Selection is based on a “first-come, first-serve” basis
  2. Applicant/Vendor must be:
    1. Permitted within the City of Beaumont
      • Temporary or annual mobile license
    2. In good standing with the Beaumont Health Department
    3. In good standing with past City-sponsored events
  3. Vendors chosen for the event will receive additional communications confirming their space at the event.

There’s no cost to be considered but if you are selected for the event, you will pay a registration fee.

With the passage of Texas Senate Bill 1008, a Special Events Permit for six or more food trucks/booths is no longer valid.
Effective September 1, 2025:
  • If you are selected for the event you applied for, food trucks/booths that do not already hold a temporary or annual mobile license with the City of Beaumont must contact the Public Health Department to obtain the required permits.
  • If you are selected for the event you applied for, vendors will be responsible for the $52 fee and must apply at least one week in advance of the event.
The temporary event permit is required for each vendor that doesn’t already hold a mobile permit, even if you already have a permit for your brick and mortar location.
