Viva Fest

The City of Beaumont is hosting a multi-day Hispanic heritage celebration May 12 and 13 in Downtown Beaumont.
Frida – Classic Movie Night, Friday, May 12 – Frida, the Academy Award winning 2002 film starring Salma Hayek, will be shown at the Jefferson Theatre. Doors open at 6:00pm and the film begins at 7:30pm. There will also be a Latin art show featuring Ines Alvidres. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Beaumont Civic Center Box Office or at the door.
Viva Fest, Saturday, May 13 – Lucha Libre Wrestling, Live music by talented mariachi and Cumbia with Sandy G y los Gavilanes, food and fun for the entire family at the Civic Center Plaza (between the Civic Center and City Hall on Main Street). The event is free and open to the public 12:00 noon – 5:00pm.
