City of Beaumont Tree Lighting 2025

The City of Beaumont will kick off the holiday season with its 8th Annual Tree Lighting ceremony at the Lake at the Event Centre – an outdoor event on Wednesday, December 3 at 5:00pm.

Experience the wonder of the holiday season like never before as Beaumont’s beloved holiday celebration returns, featuring a dazzling drone show. This radiant performance will illuminate the night, beautifully complementing the glow of the city’s iconic Christmas tree.

Adding to the excitement, Southeast Texas’ favorite cover band PopGun will headline the event, bringing their signature high-energy performance and holiday cheer to the stage. The celebration will also feature lively music from the Golden Triangle Big Band, who will kick off the festivities, and DJ Best Wave, who will keep the holiday spirit alive with festive tunes throughout the night.

This annual event promises fun for the whole family, with a wide variety of food trucks, family-friendly activities, snow, and outdoor movie screenings of beloved holiday classics, including The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol and Kung Fu Panda Holiday Special. Guests can also meet favorite holiday characters for unforgettable photo opportunities.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to relax and enjoy the outdoor movies. Admission is free and open to the public, and festivities will conclude at 7:30 p.m.

Free parking is available throughout downtown. Accessible parking will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lakeside Center and surrounding lots near the Downtown Event Centre and downtown Beaumont.
