Beaumont Oktoberfest 2024
October 5 • 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
| FreeThe City of Beaumont will host its 9th Annual Oktoberfest, on Saturday, October 5, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Rogers Park. The City of Beaumont Oktoberfest is a family favorite among citizens, offering polka and live music, local food trucks and a large beer garden.
EVENT FEATURES
Headlining this year’s event, Houston natives The Suffers, whose name is a reference to the 1978 Jamaican film Rockers starring Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace, Jacob Miller and BurningSpear, among others. The group has been on a steady grind since 2011 with a contagious and combustible energy every time the eight-piece band steps on the scene. Following The Suffers’ electrifying late night TV debut on Letterman in 2015, David Letterman exclaimed, “If you can’t do this, get out of the business!”
The event will feature live performances by The Golden Triangle Brass Quintet as well as music from local favorite Ole Lonesome. Enjoy a selection of craft and German Oktoberfest-style beers at the large beer garden. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
The City of Beaumont is excited to announce the return of the family fun addition to the annual festival, Kid-toberfest! This exciting feature will include family friendly live entertainment along with local treat trucks, a petting zoo, free face painting, and children’s activities.
