Con Funk Shun’s infectious rhythms and soulful beats are sure to captivate the crowd! Koray Broussard and the Zydeco Unit will be the perfect start to kick off the celebration. Get your body grooving with the SETX Linesteppers who will sure to get the party started! Local favorite\, DJ Erik Tee\, will be the emcee for the event\, and is sure to keep the crowd energized. Local artist\, AaRahn Stewart\, will be commemorating the event by singing the Black National Anthem. Featuring a performance from JONATHAN WILLIAMS CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS. With a blend of music\, dance\, and other entertainment\, this event promises to be a memorable experience for all. \n\n \n\nThe City of Beaumont Recreation Department is excited to bring back the 12 and under Free Throw Competition\, with fantastic prizes waiting for 1st and 2nd place winners. Known for songs like “As We Lay” and “Husband\,” Murdock’s powerful voice and heartfelt performances have made her a beloved icon in the music industry.  \nAlso gracing the stage is the incomparable Lenny Williams\, an R&B sensation with an illustrious career spanning over four decades. Williams’ soul-stirring ballads\, including the timeless hit “Cause I Love You\,” have garnered him a loyal fan base and established him as one of the most influential voices in the genre.  \nThe event will also feature live music from some of the best regional musicians such as Nebu Nezey and the Treblemakers\, Far Cry\, the Golden Triangle All Star Band\, and hosted by DJ Erik Tee of Magic 102.5\, as well as the SETX Line Steppers and other entertainment! DESCRIPTION:The City of Beaumont presents the 34th Annual Fourth of July Celebration\nSaturday\, July 4\nDowntown Beaumont \nThis spectacular annual celebration offers a sensational salute to our nation’s history featuring the largest fireworks show in Beaumont. Due to COVID-19 and guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Governor of Texas\, the community is encouraged to stay in their vehicles to view the fireworks. There will be no vendors\, entertainment or food trucks. \nThe fireworks display can also be seen virtually as it will be streaming live on Facebook at Beaumont Events. \nFireworks will be visible in Downtown and surrounding areas. Download the Sky Wonder Pyrotechnics App to your smart phone to hear the music accompanying the fireworks display. The music will begin streaming at 8:00pm.
