DESCRIPTION:The City of Beaumont Juneteenth Celebration returns to downtown Beaumont on Saturday\, June 20 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm\, bringing the community together for an evening of live entertainment\, cultural performances\, and meaningful celebration honoring the history and significance of Juneteenth. This year’s event will be held inside the Beaumont Civic Center\, providing a comfortable\, air-conditioned setting so guests can enjoy the festivities while escaping the heat of the summer.\n\nHeadlining the entertainment lineup is the legendary Zapp Band\, known for their iconic funk sound and classic hits such as “More Bounce to the Ounce” and “Computer Love”. Their high-energy performance and unmistakable talk-box style are sure to keep the crowd dancing all night long.\nThe celebration will also feature performances by Brian Jack and the Zydeco Gamblers\, NuSoul & Blacque Koffee\, and the SETX Linesteppers\, adding even more rhythm and excitement to the evening. Keeping the energy going throughout the night\, Erik Tee from Magic 102.5 will host the festivities while spinning dynamic beats and creating a lively atmosphere.\nFamilies can enjoy the H-E-B Kids Zone\, a dedicated area filled with fun and interactive activities for younger guests. The space will feature games\, face painting\, hands-on crafts\, and a variety of engaging activities designed to keep kids entertained throughout the event.\nAttendees can grab a bite from a variety of food\, providing plenty of options for every craving.\n\nTents\, chairs\, coolers\, canopies\, and pets will not be permitted inside the venue. Barbeque pits and other cooking equipment are not allowed unless the individual is an approved and pre-permitted vendor. All vendors and booths must be pre-registered to participate in the event.\n\nAdmission is free and open to the public\, and we encourage everyone to bring their friends and family!\n\nThe City of Beaumont extends its gratitude to ExxonMobil as the event’s signature sponsor\, along with Del Papa Distributing (Stage Sponsor)\, H-E-B (Kids Zone Sponsor)\, and Giglio Distributing (Partner Sponsor) for their generous support and continued commitment to the community.\nNonprofit booth applications are open now and close May 4\, 2026\, at 3:00 p.m.\, or until spaces sell out.
